Light and Bright
Even Your Tone. Brighten Your Skin. Reclaim Clarity.
Light & Bright™ is an advanced, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that combines SWT® IPL (Selective Wavelength Technology) and a 1550 nm fractional laser, both powered by the Candela Nordlys® platform. This dual-wavelength approach treats unwanted pigmentation, vascular redness, and uneven texture—all in a single session.
Designed to improve the appearance of sun damage, age spots, freckles, redness, and rough texture, Light & Bright safely targets both superficial pigment and deeper vascular lesions, while also stimulating collagen remodeling for smoother, brighter, and more even-toned skin.
This treatment is safe for a range of skin types—including up to Fitzpatrick IV—and is especially popular for face, neck, and chest rejuvenation, where signs of sun exposure tend to show earliest.

How Does Light & Bright Work?
The Selective Waveband Technology (SWT®) IPL technology used in a Light & Bright treatment uses small controlled bursts of light, which directly target unsightly blood vessels or excess melanin within your skin, reducing age spots, freckles, redness and sun damage (Improvement of textural irregularities via skin resurfacing). SWT IPL technology is unique, filtering out harmful light wavelengths compared to the older technology of standard IPL's1
The 1550 technology rejuvenates (IImprovement of textural irregularities via skin resurfacing) the skin by delivering very small, controlled bursts of energy to reduce textural irregularities. The 1550 handpiece is FDA indicated for use in dermatological procedures requiring the coagulation of soft tissue, as well as for skin resurfacing procedures.

What Can I Expect During the Procedure?
The skin is cleansed and prepped, and protective eyewear is worn. The IPL and Nd:YAG handpieces are passed over the skin to treat pigment and vascular concerns. Treatment takes 30–45 minutes depending on the area. It feels like a warm snap, but is well tolerated without numbing.
- Prior to your Light & Bright treatment, you and Dr. Munib will meet to discuss your treatment goals. It is important to avoid tanning (sun, tanning salons and self-tanning products) before and during the treatment period.
- The Light & Bright treatment consists of a course of 3 sessions, but this may vary according to what will be treated. Dr. Munib r will review with you how many sessions you may need for the desired outcome.
- Dr. Munib may use an anesthetic/numbing cream to reduce discomfort. The treatment procedure will generally take between 30-45 minutes.
- After treatment, your skin may benefit from applying a cold damp cloth to your face or from using a prescription ointment.
- You may notice a sloughing off of some skin or a darkening of some pigmented spots for a few days following the treatment. After that, you will find your skin looks smoother, fresher and glowing.

The Results
Before (Left Side of Image)
- Redness & Inflammation: Noticeable diffuse erythema (redness) across the chest area, consistent with vascular lesions or sun damage.
- Pigmentation: Uneven skin tone with visible blotchiness and discoloration.
- Texture: Rougher surface appearance, likely due to photodamage or early crepe-like skin changes.
After (Right Side of Image)
- Reduced Redness: Significant decrease in visible redness and flushing, suggesting vascular lesions have been effectively targeted.
- Improved Tone: More uniform pigmentation across the treatment area. Red and brown spots appear lighter or eliminated.
- Enhanced Clarity: The skin appears calmer, brighter, and more even overall, indicating successful photorejuvenation.
- Texture Softening: While subtle, the texture appears smoother, with less blotchiness and improved reflectivity of the skin.
