Patient's Area of Concern:
Forehead Lines, Uneven Skin Texture, Sun Damage, Redness

Patient's Age:
50's

Treatment:
CO2 Laser Resurfacing

Practitioner:
Sabeen Munib M.D.

Details of the Treatment:
The concern was the upper third of the face: fine horizontal lines across the forehead, a surface that had lost its smoothness and redness that sat between the brows.
On assessment, the forehead lines were shallow and present at rest, the surface texture was uneven across the brow and central forehead, and there was diffuse redness at the glabella. Brow position was within normal range. The pattern reflected cumulative sun exposure and surface aging rather than muscle activity, which is why resurfacing, rather than a neuromodulator, suited this presentation.
Dr. Sabeen Munib, MD treated the upper face with CO2 Laser Resurfacing, with the depth adjusted for the thinner skin of the forehead and brow. Results of this kind build gradually over several months as the treated skin renews.
In the after image, the forehead lines have softened, the surface reads smoother and the redness between the brows has settled. Lines that come from the surface respond to resurfacing; lines that come from movement need a different tool.
Individual results vary. The outcome shown reflects this patient's specific anatomy, health history, and treatment plan. Results shown are not guaranteed and are not necessarily typical. Photos used with patient consent.
