How PicoWay Removal Works
A PicoWay laser pulse lasts picoseconds, far shorter than the nanosecond pulse of older lasers. The short pulse breaks the pigment into particles small enough for the body to clear over the following weeks. Less heat reaches the surrounding skin, which lowers the risk of lightened patches and scarring across the thin skin of the brow and lash line.
Cosmetic brow pigment is not body-tattoo ink. Microblading and permanent-makeup inks are mixed for color, not for clean laser removal, so a brow fades in stages rather than all at once. Saline removal is sold for cosmetic brows at some studios; Spectrum provides laser removal only.
