The pigment depth was even within the skin. The surrounding skin was free of texture issues from previous tattooing. The pattern was the long-term color shift that often happens with iron-based cosmetic brow pigments over time.

Pico laser was performed at conservative settings tuned for the kind of pigment used in cosmetic brow tattoos. Conservative settings are essential in cosmetic tattoo work — aggressive settings can paradoxically darken the pigment rather than fade it. Improvements continue gradually over several months as the pigment clears. In the after image, the cosmetic tattoo has faded substantially and the residual color reads more natural. The surrounding brow skin is unchanged. Cosmetic tattoo removal is technically distinct from body tattoo removal — different settings, different approach. The protocol matters more than the laser brand name.
