Details of the Treatment:

The goal was redness reduction and tone evening in the same protocol. The cheeks showed mild diffuse redness with overlying tone irregularity that foundation no longer balanced.

Cheek and midface assessment showed mild diffuse erythema with scattered surface pigmentary irregularity. The skin was Fitzpatrick type II. The pattern reflected combined vascular and pigmentary photoaging without the more advanced changes that would require energy-based resurfacing. The plan was IPL with sequential wavelengths targeting both components.

IPL was performed across both cheeks at vascular and pigment-targeting wavelengths. Combined-target IPL is more efficient than serial single-target protocols when the photoaging components coexist. Recovery is one to two days of mild redness. In the after image, results of this kind are typically observed over several weeks as the skin clears, the cheek redness has reduced, the surface pigmentation has lightened, and the skin tone reads as more uniform. The framework is multi-target intervention matched to multi-component presentation.

Individual results vary. The outcome shown reflects this patient's specific anatomy, health history, and treatment plan. Results shown are not guaranteed and are not necessarily typical. Photos used with patient consent.
