PRFM Under Eye Before & After | Lid-Cheek Smoothness and Volume (Oblique View)

In oblique view, the lateral under-eye and lid-cheek junction showed mild hollowing with crepey, slightly shadowed skin where the lower lid meets the cheek.

Before treatment, the issue read as skin quality and a shallow hollow rather than a deep volume deficit — and that distinction matters, because PRFM is not a filler. It is a preparation made from the patient's own blood that releases growth factors gradually, improving skin thickness, texture, and tone over weeks rather than instantly filling a hollow. It tends to do the most for fine crepiness, mild shadowing, and skin quality at the lid-cheek junction, and the least for a deep tear-trough hollow, which is a volume problem better matched to other approaches.

Here, PRFM (Selphyl) was drawn and prepared in office, then placed in the thin under-eye skin where it forms a fibrin matrix that releases growth factors over time, stimulating collagen and improving the quality of the skin. In the after image the lid-cheek area reads smoother and a little fuller, with the shadowing softened. Because it works through the patient's own healing, the change is gradual and usually builds over a short series rather than appearing after a single visit.
