RHA Filler Before & After | Mature Midface Volume Restoration

On assessment, both sides of the midface showed reduced volume, the marionette lines were deep, and the skin moved a lot in animation — typical for mature skin. RHA suited this presentation because it flexes with movement instead of fragmenting or drifting the way standard filler can in mobile skin.

RHA filler was placed by cannula at the deep cheek position and along the marionette lines. Resilient hyaluronic acid behaves differently in mobile skin — it stretches with movement rather than fragmenting or drifting. Drift and fragmentation are the typical failure modes of standard fillers in mature skin. In the after image, the midface volume is restored, the marionette lines have softened, and the filler stays visually integrated during natural facial animation. Product matched to skin behavior is the framework. Filler in mature patients calls for different properties than the same indication in younger skin.
