Sculptra Before & After | Lower Face Lift and Volume Restoration

She wanted volume restoration and lift in one approach, without surgery or threads. Her lower face had lost both volume at the cheek and definition at the jawline.

Mid and lower-face assessment showed bilateral malar volume loss with associated marionette line depth and lower-face descent. The skin elasticity was age-appropriate. The pattern reflected combined volume loss and early structural change. The plan was Sculptra placed at the malar and lateral lower-face positions, with the dosing weighted to produce both volume and structural effects.

Sculptra was placed via cannula at the deep malar and lateral lower-face positions. The collagen induction produces a lift effect because the new collagen has structural properties similar to native dermal collagen. In the after image, the midface volume has restored, the marionette lines have softened, and the lower-face contour reads as lifted without surgical intervention. Sculptra has limits — significant established laxity requires surgical lift. For early-stage descent, collagen induction can delay surgical timing by years.
