Licensing Overview
Spectrum Skin Clinic considers licensing requests for images displayed on this website on a case by case basis. Whether you are a journalist, educator, content creator, or business, we are open to discussing limited usage rights for appropriate purposes. All requests must be submitted in writing and approved before any image is used.
Who Can Request a License
We welcome licensing inquiries from the following:
- Media outlets and journalists covering aesthetic medicine or skincare topics
- Educational institutions using imagery for non-commercial academic purposes
- Healthcare professionals referencing treatment outcomes in clinical or research settings
- Non-profit organizations with a clearly defined public interest purpose
Commercial licensing requests are evaluated individually. Approval is not guaranteed and is entirely at the discretion of Spectrum Skin Clinic.
What You Need to Include in Your Request
To help us process your request efficiently, please include the following in your inquiry:
- Your full name and organization or company name
- The specific image or images you wish to use (include the page URL where you found it)
- The intended purpose — editorial, educational, commercial, or other
- Where the image will be published or displayed (website, print, social media, etc.)
- The proposed duration of use
- Whether you intend to modify or crop the image in any way
Incomplete requests may result in delays or automatic rejection.
Attribution Requirements
All approved uses of Spectrum Skin Clinic imagery must include clear and visible attribution in the following format:
© Spectrum Skin Clinic, Irvine CA — spectrumskinclinic.com. Used with permission.
Attribution must appear directly adjacent to the image or in the credits section of the publication. Digital uses must include a hyperlink back to spectrumskinclinic.com where technically possible.
Before & After Images
Before and after treatment photographs are subject to additional restrictions due to patient privacy considerations. These images may not be licensed for commercial use under any circumstances. Limited editorial use may be considered provided that:
- The images are not used out of context or in a misleading manner
- No patient identifying information is attached or implied
- The content does not misrepresent the treatment, clinic, or results in any way
- Written approval has been granted by both Spectrum Skin Clinic and, where applicable, the patient
Fees & Agreements
Some licensing arrangements may involve a licensing fee, particularly for commercial or long-term use. Any approved licensing arrangement will be formalized through a written agreement outlining the scope, duration, permitted usage, attribution requirements, and applicable fees. No license is considered granted until a signed agreement is in place.
