Details of the Treatment:

She didn't want a long staged protocol. The sun damage was multiple things at once — scattered dark spots, mild redness, uneven tone — and she wanted them addressed together.

Full face assessment showed scattered solar lentigines across cheeks and temples, mild facial erythema, and diffuse surface tone irregularity. The skin was Fitzpatrick type II. The pattern reflected cumulative photoaging across multiple affected components. The plan was full-face IPL with sequential vascular and pigment-targeting wavelengths.

IPL was performed across the full face at vascular and pigment-targeting wavelengths. The sequential wavelength approach addresses multiple photoaging components in one session rather than requiring separate device protocols. Recovery is one to two days of mild redness with darkened pigment spots that exfoliate over five to seven days. In the after image, results of this kind are commonly observed over several weeks as the skin clears, the lentigines have lightened, the facial redness has reduced, and the overall skin tone reads as more uniform. Multi-target IPL platforms produce comprehensive renewal in fewer sessions when the patient's photoaging spans multiple components rather than being purely pigmentary or purely vascular.

Individual results vary. The outcome shown reflects this patient's specific anatomy, health history, and treatment plan. Results shown are not guaranteed and are not necessarily typical. Photos used with patient consent.
