Patient's Area of Concern:
Female Pattern Hair Loss, Crown Density Loss

Patient's Age:
50's

Treatment:
Exosome Therapy

Practitioner:
Sabeen Munib M.D.

Details of the Treatment:
She wanted a non-surgical regenerative option for crown thinning without committing to long-term oral medication. Slow progression over years in the typical female-pattern distribution.
On assessment, the pattern was the typical female version — diffuse thinning concentrated at the crown and central scalp with the front of the hairline holding. Hair thickness across the top was reduced — the look of follicles starting to shrink — with no visible scarring. The follicles themselves were still in place, which was a strong setup for a regenerative treatment. Exosome therapy suited this presentation because the biology was still responsive.
Treatment was delivered as micro-injections across the affected crown, with the highest concentration at the most thinned areas. In the after image, the crown shows better coverage and thicker-looking hair, with less visible scalp than at baseline. Crown density loss in female-pattern thinning responds to treatment on the same timeline as in men. The mechanism is the same; only the distribution differs. Restoration starts with what is still alive.
Individual results vary. The outcome shown reflects this patient's specific anatomy, health history, and treatment plan. Results shown are not guaranteed and are not necessarily typical. Photos used with patient consent.

Treatment Delivered
Three-session exosome protocol concentrated at the crown, with the highest concentration at the most visibly thinned zones. Delivered at six-week intervals via micro-injection.
Visible Change
Crown coverage is improved and hair caliber appears thicker on examination. Scalp visibility from above is reduced compared to baseline.
Same Mechanism, Different Distribution
Female-pattern loss responds to biologic stabilization on the same timeline as male-pattern. The mechanism is the same; what differs is the pattern of loss.
