Details of the Treatment:

Exosome therapy was chosen as a regenerative option for diffuse crown thinning — classic female-pattern hair loss with a widening central part.

Scalp assessment showed diffuse miniaturization across the vertex with the central part widened bilaterally and significant scalp show at the crown. Hair caliber was reduced across the affected zone with finer, shorter terminal hairs consistent with active follicular miniaturization. The distribution — crown-predominant with relative frontal hairline preservation — is characteristic of female androgenetic alopecia. No scarring or focal alopecia was present, indicating follicular units remained viable and responsive to growth factor stimulation.

Dr. Sabeen Munib administered exosome therapy via scalp injection across the crown and vertex, delivering concentrated extracellular vesicles containing growth factors, cytokines, and signaling proteins directly to the follicular units. In the after image, hair density across the crown reads as measurably improved, the central part appears narrowed, and scalp visibility at the vertex is substantially reduced. Exosome therapy stimulates follicular activity by restoring intercellular signaling in a miniaturizing environment — the mechanism targets the biology of the follicle, not the symptom of shedding.

Individual results vary. The outcome shown reflects this patient's specific anatomy, health history, and treatment plan. Results shown are not guaranteed and are not necessarily typical. Photos used with patient consent.

Crown Density Improved

Crown Density Improved

Exosome growth factor delivery to the crown and vertex has stimulated dormant follicular units, with measurably increased hair density visible across the treatment zone.

Central Part Narrowed

Central Part Narrowed

The widened central part — the primary visual marker of female pattern thinning — reads as substantially narrowed post-treatment, with new hairs filling in bilaterally along the part line.

Scalp Visibility Reduced

Scalp Visibility Reduced

Visible scalp at the crown is substantially reduced, with increased hair coverage across the vertex creating a fuller, denser appearance from the top-down view.
