Lash Lift Before & After | Fine, Light-Colored Lashes Given Visible Shape

The before view shows fine, light-colored lashes lying flat along the lash line. The lash line reads as sparse from a distance.

Fine and lightly pigmented lashes reflect rather than absorb light, so they register as thinner than they are. Lying flat compounds it, since a flat lash line produces no shadow and no visible frame around the eye. The count here is within normal range. The issue is shape and contrast, not density. Finer lashes also process faster, which makes timing the more important variable in this case.

A smaller rod was used with a reduced processing time to avoid over-processing the finer lash shaft. The after view shows a defined curve holding along the full lash line, with the lashes catching light along the curve rather than lying flat. A lift changes shape and not color, so patients with very light lashes should expect definition rather than darkening.
