Details of the Treatment:
The before view shows lashes pointing downward and sitting beneath a low upper lid crease. Very little lash is visible from the front.
A lower lid crease leaves less space between the lash line and the lid fold. Lashes growing downward into that space disappear from a front-facing view entirely. This is the anatomy where a mechanical curler tends to fail, since the clamp cannot reach the base without catching the lid. It is also the pattern where a lift produces the most visible change, because the lashes were never short, only hidden.
Rod selection matters more in this anatomy than in any other. A rod too large will not clear the crease, and a rod too small over-curls the lash into the lid. A mid-range rod was used with a shorter processing time. The after view shows the lash line clearing the crease and the eye reading as more open. Suitability depends on lid anatomy, lash strength, and prior chemical treatment.
Individual results vary. The outcome shown reflects this patient's specific anatomy, lash characteristics, and treatment plan. Results shown are not guaranteed and are not necessarily typical. Photos used with patient consent.

Lashes Cleared of the Lid Fold
Lifting the lash above a low crease brings the lash line into view from the front without changing the lid itself.
Rod Size Matched to the Anatomy
The silicone rod is chosen against lash length and crease height, since the wrong size either under-lifts or curls the lash into the lid.
An Alternative to Extensions
No added weight sits on the natural lash, which suits patients who found extensions heavy or irritating.
