Recession at both temples with reduced density along the front hairline. The plan used growth factors from his own blood at the recession zones.
On assessment, both temples showed recession with reduced density at the corners where the temple meets the front of the hairline. The crown was holding. The pattern reflected front-pattern recession layered on top of general thinning. PRFM suited this presentation because the follicles in the recession zones were still in place and capable of responding.
PRFM was prepared from the patient's own blood draw and placed into the temple area at the recession zones. In the after image, the temple hairline reads denser, the recession zones show new fine hair growth, and the face frame reads more complete. The hairline frames the face. Restoring it changes how the whole face reads.
