CO2 resurfacing was the path because both cosmetic and skin-health concerns were in play. Decades of outdoor work had left widespread sun damage — sun spots, deep texture changes, enlarged pores, and lines that had progressed faster than typical for his age.
On full-face assessment, the temples and forehead showed widespread sun spots. Deeper lines appeared around the eyes and forehead. Enlarged pores ran throughout the central face with mild surface change. The pattern reflected long-term sun damage typical of outdoor work. CO2 resurfacing suited this presentation because it addresses cosmetic concerns and early sun-damage skin changes in a single treatment.
CO2 laser resurfacing was performed across the full face. Improvements continue gradually over several months as the skin renews. In the after image, the sun spots have substantially lightened, the texture has smoothed, the lines have softened, and the surface skin reads cleaner.
