Lip Filler Before and After | Definition, Symmetry, and Hydration (1)

Three things in one visit: lip definition that had softened over time, mild lifelong upper-lip asymmetry that had become more visible, and surface dryness that lip products weren't fixing.

On assessment, the upper lip was mildly uneven, with the left side slightly fuller than the right. The lip border was soft on both lips. The lip surface read dry, with reduced light reflection. The cupid's bow was preserved but soft. The lower lip was within range for both volume and evenness. A multi-strategy approach suited this presentation because each concern called for a different placement rather than one general approach.

A soft filler was placed by cannula in three placement strategies in a single visit. The lip border was addressed for definition. Volume weighted to the smaller right upper lip balanced the larger left side. Tiny shallow droplets across the lip surface added hydration. Multi-strategy placement is a more nuanced approach than uniform injection — different placements address different concerns within the same lip. In the after image, the lip border is defined, the upper-lip unevenness has resolved, and the lip surface reflects light evenly. The placement strategy determines the result more than the product or volume choice does.
