On assessment, both lips were naturally thin, with reduced volume in upper and lower lip body. The lip-to-face proportions were within range. The lip border was soft but preserved. The cupid's bow was present and centered. The side contours of the lips were even. The pattern was natural lip anatomy. A conservative approach suited this presentation because the goal was a fuller version of the lips she already had.
A soft filler was placed by cannula in matching passes — lip border first, then proportionate body volume in upper and lower lip. Total product was on the conservative side of standard for thin-lip cases. Classic-shape placement preserves the existing anatomy — the cupid's bow, the upper-to-lower ratio, the side contour — and only adds volume to it. In the after image, the lips read as a fuller version of the patient's own anatomy. The cupid's bow is more visible. The lip border is defined. The proportions are unchanged.
