Lip Filler Before and After | Cupid's Bow Reshaping and Volume Enhancement

On front-view assessment, the cupid's bow was flat with soft peaks on either side of the central dip and minimal central dip itself. The lip border was preserved on both sides. The lower lip was within range. The upper lip body volume was modestly reduced. The pattern was natural lip anatomy rather than acquired change. A targeted placement approach suited this presentation because the goal was specific to the shape rather than general volume.

A soft filler was placed by cannula in small, targeted amounts at the right and left peaks of the cupid's bow. The center of the lip was intentionally left untreated to keep the central dip. The lower lip received no treatment. Cupid's bow reshaping is a precision technique — placement variation of one to two millimeters changes the result substantially. In the after image, the cupid's bow has defined peaks. The central dip is more visible. The upper lip reads as having a defined shape rather than a flat curve. The lower lip is unchanged. What the patient actually asked for is what was treated.
