Details of the Treatment:

Drifted under-eye filler was showing as a bluish hue and uneven surface — product sitting in the wrong tissue layer. Rest, eye cream, and time had done nothing for it.

On assessment, both sides showed under-eye filler that had ended up in the wrong tissue layer rather than where it had originally been placed. Surface puffiness was worse on one side, and a faint bluish tone was visible — the look that comes when filler sits too shallowly. The patient's anatomy underneath the filler appeared structurally sound. The pattern reflected misplacement rather than weakness in the underlying anatomy. A reset approach suited this presentation because the right next step was getting back to baseline, not adding more.

Hyaluronidase was placed by cannula in small amounts at the visible filler deposits identified on ultrasound. Cannula placement is safer for the under-eye area and gives more controlled spread than needle injection. In the after image, the puffiness has resolved, the surface texture has smoothed, and the bluish tone is gone. The under-eye contour reads as the patient's own anatomy. The framework was conservative — clear what was misplaced, leave any well-placed product alone, return the area to its starting state.

Individual results vary. The outcome shown reflects this patient's specific anatomy, health history, and treatment plan. Results shown are not guaranteed and are not necessarily typical. Photos used with patient consent.
