Details of the Treatment:
She used the word 'done' twice in consultation — that was her concern. A first neuromodulator treatment after several years of weighing it, with a preference for starting small over starting aggressive.
On assessment, the forehead showed shallow horizontal lines appearing mainly on animation, with very little visible at rest. The area between the brows was within normal activity range. The brow position was unremarkable. The pattern was the early stage of dynamic lining — a patient at the start of the timeline rather than mid-trajectory. A conservative approach suited this presentation because the patient's primary concern was appearing overdone.
Dysport was placed at the standard forehead points at a smaller-than-maximum amount, with the explicit plan that more product could be added at the follow-up visit if more softening was wanted. This start-low approach is the right match for patients whose primary concern is appearing overdone. In the after image, the lines have softened on animation, the forehead retains natural movement, and no additional product was requested. Starting low and adding is a different strategy from starting at full dose and waiting it out. Both work; only one allows correction without waiting.
Individual results vary. The outcome shown reflects this patient's specific anatomy, health history, and treatment plan. Results shown are not guaranteed and are not necessarily typical. Photos used with patient consent.
