Smoother Forehead Lines with Dysport

She had used neuromodulators before and described the outcomes as inconsistent — sometimes lasting longer, sometimes wearing off early. She wanted consistency more than any particular brand.

On assessment, the forehead showed full-width horizontal lines with depth holding at rest, especially in the upper forehead. The area between the brows showed mild activity. The brow position sat slightly low, with the forehead muscle helping support it. The pattern reflected cumulative movement-driven change with the forehead muscle doing extra work to keep the brow up. A movement-preserving approach suited this presentation because the brow position needed the lifting recruitment to stay.

Dysport was selected based on how it spreads through the muscle, which favors even softening across the forehead rather than concentrated effect. Placement was matched to soften the set lines while keeping the lifting recruitment on the sides — important in patients whose brow position depends on active forehead support. In the after image, the horizontal lines have softened at rest and on animation, and the brow sits in a similar position to baseline. Outcome consistency comes from technique and patient anatomy more than from brand alone.
