Dysport® for Forehead Lines – Smooth, Natural Results

Forehead lines were visible even at full rest. She had avoided neuromodulators for years out of concern about a frozen forehead, and the lines had finally deepened enough to override that concern.

On assessment, horizontal lines were visible across the upper forehead with depth holding at rest, and shallower lines ran across the lower forehead. The pattern was the kind of progression that happens when active lines start setting into place. The between-the-brow muscles were mildly active. The brow position was within range and not depending on sustained forehead lifting. A movement-preserving approach suited this presentation because the patient's actual concern was the lines, not removing all expression.

Placement was concentrated in the upper forehead where the lines were deepest, with conservative dosing across the lower forehead to keep expression and natural brow movement. Frozen-forehead outcomes generally come from over-dosing the entire forehead rather than from any property of the product itself. In the after image, the set lines have softened, the forehead moves naturally on animation, and the brow position is unchanged. The outcome depends more on placement strategy than on brand. Done correctly, the muscle is relaxed enough to smooth the lines while keeping natural movement.
