Lip Filler Dissolve Before & After | Correcting Migration & Uneven Lips

Years of lip filler from multiple providers had stacked into uneven build-up — one side projecting more than the other, the upper lip drifted into the skin above the border, corners of the mouth at different levels. Retouching kept making it worse.

On assessment, the upper lip carried more product on the right side than the left. The skin above the upper lip read wider than it should. Drifted product above the lip border was visible on the more affected side. The lower lip was uneven as well, with one corner of the mouth sitting slightly higher. The pattern across both lips was the kind of mismatch that comes from repeated single-side touch-ups without anyone looking at both sides together. A reset-first approach suited this presentation because the lips needed to come back to baseline before anyone could see what they actually needed.

Hyaluronidase was placed in targeted amounts at the zones of uneven build-up, weighted to the more affected side. Treatment was paced across more than one visit. Asymmetry correction is harder than a straight dissolve because the lip can over-correct in the opposite direction if the dissolve is not measured carefully. In the after image, the upper lip mass distributes evenly across the middle, the skin above the lip has narrowed, and the corners of the mouth sit at the same level on smile. Removing what is wrong before adding what is right is the only sequence that works in uneven cases.
