Nefertiti Botox Before & After | Jawline Lift and Lower Face Rebalancing

She wanted to know whether anything non-surgical could shift the trajectory before committing to a surgical lower facelift. The jawline had blurred over the past decade and the neck bands had become visible at rest.

On assessment of the lower face and neck, the bands at the front of the neck were visible at rest and pulled more on speaking. The jawline edge looked blurred along the under-side of the jaw. The pattern was the kind of downward pull that develops with age in the neck muscles, layered on top of the natural skin softening of the seventh decade. The Nefertiti pattern suited this presentation because it directly addresses what is pulling the lower face down.

Botox was placed in small amounts along the under-side of the jaw and along each visible band at the front of the neck. Doses were kept conservative at each point so neck function stays normal. In the after image, the jawline reads more defined, the bands at the front of the neck have softened, and the neck-to-jaw transition is smoother. Non-surgical approaches have a ceiling. For the right patient at the right stage, that ceiling is high enough.
