Details of the Treatment:

A linear facial scar from a trauma several years earlier was visible from conversation distance. He had been told surgical excision was the only revision option and was looking for a non-surgical alternative.

On assessment, the scar ran in a line with mild firmness on touch, uneven surface texture along the line, and slight pulling of the surrounding skin. The scar was past the active healing window where steroids or topicals would have been most effective. The pattern reflected mature scar tissue calling for active deeper treatment rather than surface care. RF skin-renewal work suited this presentation because mature scar tissue responds to deeper stimulation rather than surface work alone.

Treatment was performed across the scar and a small zone around it. Treating into the surrounding skin blends the transition between scar and normal skin. Mature scar tissue responds slowly, which is why scar work runs over a longer course than standard skin work. Improvements continue gradually over several months as the tissue remodels. In the after image, the scar firmness has softened, the surface texture has improved, and the visible color has integrated with the surrounding skin. Surgical revision remains an option, but it introduces a new scar. Treating from underneath addresses depth, firmness, and texture in the existing tissue.

Individual results vary. The outcome shown reflects this patient's specific anatomy, health history, and treatment plan. Results shown are not guaranteed and are not necessarily typical. Photos used with patient consent.

Pigment + Tone Correction

Pigment + Tone Correction

Pigmentation was visibly reduced, redness calmed, and the surrounding skin tone rebalanced — leaving the area brighter, calmer, and less reactive to light.

Advanced Collagen Remodeling

Advanced Collagen Remodeling

This isn’t just scar fading — it’s deep regenerative work using targeted modalities (likely microneedling, RF, and exosomes) to stimulate collagen, flatten raised tissue, and rebuild dermal structure over time.
