HIFU Before & After | Lower Face Tightening and Double Chin Reduction

On assessment, the lower face showed mild jawline blurring with mild under-chin fullness and early lower-face descent. The skin firmness was age-appropriate. The pattern was a mix of early structural softening with mild fullness. HIFU suited this presentation because for early softening, a tightening treatment that works from underneath fits better than something that physically moves tissue.

HIFU was performed across the lower face and under-chin region. Recovery is essentially zero — patients return to normal activity the same day. Results emerge gradually over several months as the deeper layers tighten. In the after image, the jawline reads more defined, the under-chin contour has tightened, and the lower-face descent has improved. HIFU has limits — surgical-grade looseness exceeds what non-surgical can do. For early-stage descent, the technique can delay surgical timing by years.
